Shelly Renee Gerritsma is both an artist and designer, with an eclectic aesthetic, curated from a lifelong love of nature, animals, vintage and antique design and architecture.
Originally from the Southwestern United States, Shelly moved to Pinehurst, North Carolina, in 2015, where the region’s rich equestrian history and stunning sandy pine landscapes inspire her work.
With a deep love for all things equestrian and a keen eye for design, Shelly has established herself as an interior designer, artist, and surface pattern designer. Her award-winning work has been featured in various media outlets, and her artwork has been licensed by notable brands such as Romfh Equestrian, Williams Sonoma, Apple TV, and Ariat International. Shelly’s designs reflect her unique perspective and celebrate the beauty of the Southern lifestyle.
Shelly Turner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Colorado State University. She has received numerous awards and accolades for both Interior Design work, and artwork.
